Expressing her feminist, anti-Putin views as lead vocalist in soviet rock and roll band, Bravo, Zhanna Aguzarova later left to become a solo artist. Renowned for her dark and daring dress sense and typically punk persona, she is a Russian icon of the late 80s and still to this day. She is remembered for her admirable attitude and style. Unsurprisingly, Bravo soon collapsed when Aguzarova decided to leave, but nevertheless are still recognized, like Aguzarova, for their fiery political views during the Soviet Union. At the age of 48, the punk queen hasn’t been forgotten, so we take a trip down memory lane and thank her for the huge impact she made during the punk movement in the late 80s.
